The Corporation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that, along with a professional and committed team of staff members, is dedicated to promoting and enhancing Community Economic Development in the area.

Scott Medlock , Resident of Hope

Chairperson

Scott Medlock is a resident of hope and manages an auto parts store. Scott is involved in the Hope Lions Club serving as 1st Vice President and also works with the Hope and District Chamber of Commerce as a director. Scott is also a member of the volunteer fire department and a director with the Brigade day committee. He enjoys the Sun Country area and is committed to promoting economic development in the area.

John White, Resident of Clinton
Vice-Chairperson

John has served with Community Futures Sun Country since 1997 as Director and/ or Vice-Chair.  John is active in Community Economic Development and was elected to Clinton Municipal Council on November 19th, 2005.  Other experience includes Board and Committee membership with the local Chamber, Credit Union, and numerous other community Groups.  John has a background in the Mining Industry, is a retired Government Agent and is currently involved with residential property development.

Sandra Gaspard, Resident of Ashcroft/Cache Creek

Sandra joined the board of Sun Country in November 2005. Sandra has been a project coordinator at Historic Hat Creek Ranch for many years and in that capacity has had opportunity to work with government agencies, be involved in social development, educational program development, as well as grant and proposal writing.

Michael Cobbe, Resident of Ashcroft
Director

Michael's background is in tourism and he has extensive experience in the resort and restaurant industries. Now retired, Michael serves on the Board of the Hat Creek Ranch and has been an active Community Futures Sun Country Board member since 1995.

Jane Bryson, Resident of Lillooet
Director

Jane has been a resident of Lillooet since 1967. Over the years, she has been a strong advocate and volunteer for Lillooet and has worked extensively to promote tourism, economic and educational services in the region. Jane works for Thompson Rivers University.

Laurie French, Resident of Hope
Director

Laurie is a long-time resident of Hope and has owned and operated a number of local businesses. He has been a dedicated member of our Board for many years, both as director and as chair. In addition, he has made significant contributions to the local Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club. Laurie currently serves as a Councillor for the District of Hope.

Dona Radomsky, Resident of Logan Lake

Dona became a resident of Logan Lake in 2003 as the communities Pharmacist - Manager. She was instrumental in the formation of the Logan Lake Business Association and took the lead as chairperson in 2004. She is now the Treasurer and is the liaison with the District of Logan Lake. Dona is very involved in her community and recently accepted a position as a Director of Community Futures Board

Jim Ryan, Resident of Spences Bridge

Jim has lived in the area since 1992. He has worked extensively in the tourism industry and is currently employed as a project manager for Telus Corp.

Debbie Arnott
General Manager

Debbie is the General Manager for the Corporation, responsible for the overall operations including negotiating programs for the area. She has a passion and years of experience in community economic development, and works hard to ensure that programs remain in the rural communities that are serviced by Community Futures. In enhancing her leadership skills, Debbie has participated in Strategic Leadership at Royal Roads University, and participated in the Leadership BC Pilot Project. She is also a certified Aboriginal Economic Developer. She serves on the CFDA Provincial Community Economic Development Committee.

Janna Kinvig
Accounting Clerk

Janna is the Accounting Clerk and is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the management and administration of the Corporation's financial affairs, including operations and loans.

Linsie Lachapelle
Receptionist / Information Officer

Linsie is the Receptionist / Information Officer at the Sun Country office. She provides secretarial, administrative and reception support to the Sun Country administrative office. Linsie also provides research, support and information services to existing and future clients.
